Have you ever wondered how Ikea manages to perform so profitably in over 40 countries? Or why Starbucks is so popular? Do you want to know the differences in regional markets? For example, why McDonald's offers the McKroket in The Netherlands, Curaçao and Belgium yet nowhere else in the world?
If you’re interested in business, and especially the inner workings of companies that operate internationally, International Business & Management is the programme for you. By studying aspects of marketing, operations, finance, economics and (project)management, you will learn how to map the interests of a company or organisation and translate them into goals and plans.
Study French, Spanish, German or Dutch for non-Dutch and become equipped to do business with business partners from different cultural backgrounds. Travel to Los Angeles for an international project, work for a company in London during your (work)placement, study abroad at one of our partner universities in France or write your thesis for a company in China.
In short, at International Business & Management you will be trained in an international study environment that prepares you for management positions at companies anywhere in the world.
